The company Fairphone unveiled smartphone Fairphone 2 with a modular design that greatly simplifies machine maintenance, renovation and repairs.
"Fairphone 2 concept is similar to Google's smartphone Project Ara. This idea is to create a mobile device with easily replaceable functional units - CPU, monitor, camera, various sensors, etc.

Basic configuration of the smart phone version will Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 5-inch full HD display, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, 8 MPx camera, supports LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There will be the opportunity to put two SIM cards. Battery capacity - 2420 mAh. Operating system - Android 5.1.
"Fairphone 2" is scheduled to begin shipping in the fall for € 525 price.
